God has so graciously blessed us with three acres right on the St. Joseph River in Niles, MI. Our property setting is a hidden gem that opens up to the most beautiful natural setting ready for your special event. The land not only offers gorgeous views of the river but numerous shady sites underneath the giant array of oak, beech, and walnut trees.
Here at The Haven, our property has ample space for parking, room for various size event tents, dock, and arbor of your choosing for ceremony setup or other photo opportunities. This open setting is perfect to allow you flexibility to make your day or event affordable and unique. It is nature’s blank canvas ready for you to personalize.
The Haven is more than just a wedding venue or event site—here at The Haven, you can also enjoy the great outdoors in a private nook setting alongside the river’s edge. Bring your own kayak or use one on us (limited kayaks available) for a day of kayaking, fishing, and tent camping, in a private relaxing atmosphere with wildlife opportunities. We are a blessed Christian organization and would like to extend a warm welcome to the public with this small gem of land. Come enjoy spring and summer days as well as fall leaves in October!
The $1000 venue fee covers both the ceremony and the reception. Includes parking access with attendants, arbor of your choosing, deck along the river’s edge, two quiet generators, three-day property access for wedding photos, ceremony, reception, rehearsal, and setup. Also includes five round tables, 50 chairs (10 per table), and five tablecloths. It’s a blank canvas for your own creativity and use of your own caterer choice or family potluck! Setup and cleanup are your responsibility unless notified. A $200 deposit is required to book.

The Mobile Bar rental we prefer for events can be booked at the Oak & Magnolia Facebook Page.
Drinking alcohol is not prohibited but limited, and if alcohol is served it needs to be with a licensed or certified bar tender per state regulations. We prefer Oak & Magnolia, but you can us a designated bar tender or mobile bar of your choosing.
Other events such as: birthdays, anniversaries, grad parties, reunions, Bible study groups, conferences, meetings, or small gatherings can be tailored and reserved upon request with a starting fee plus deposit.
